WEB SERVER UPDATE

ATTENTION MEMBERS AND VISITORS!

UPDATE: AS OF 3/30/2010, THE SITE IS NEARLY 99% RESTORED AND IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL!!!!!

Recently, our web server came under a severe DDOS attack that crippled the main file and operating system causing corruption throughout ALL hosted web sites. My data center technicians were able to salvage the web sites and were able to migrate a majority of them onto a much more secure box. HOWEVER, they were not able to save the file structure of [AON] Veteran Soldiers OR The Cheat Police. Fortunately, the database for both sites were untouched, and I had full backups of the directory structure.

At this very moment, I am working on restoring [AON] Veteran Soldiers to it's former working self and am nearly complete. As soon as I finish this, I will head over to The Cheat Police and restore it back to it's original working self. Keep an eye out here when I update my final status.

AAO, COD4, CS:S, TS3 Server News

A little bit of info for you guys. Due to depleted resources and issues with Linux not allowing custom configs, I was forced to drop the AAO server. As soon as I can afford it, I'll get a better box to run the AAO server, and hopefully get the custom configs working.

In conjunction with the COD4 Stock Server, I am running another MODDED COD4 server. It is running a gungame mod. I am tweaking it out, but this mod is quite nice. After time, I am going to load up another COD4 server or 2 with different mods.

We are now running a Counter Strike Source server. If you have the game, check it out. If not, go to the Steam website and get it. You can get a shitload of CS games for cheap money. Check out http://store.steampowered.com/sub/717/

I am working on a TeamSpeak 3 server. I am running it locally. If you want to check it out, the IP is 72.52.191.224:9987

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, WE ARE BACK ON TEAMSPEAK 2. THE NEW IP IS 72.52.191.191:8768

THE CLIENT CAN STILL BE DOWNLOADED FROM OUR WEBSITE. ALL MEMBERS MUST NOW GET THE NEW TEAMSPEAK 2 INSTALLED AS THE TEAMS TEAMSPEAK 3 SERVER NO LONGER EXISTS. THIS CHANGE IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE SUPPORT AT GAMESERVERS.COM AND TEAM SPEAK SUCKS ROYALLY.

ALSO, I HAVE DROPPED THE COD4 SERVERS HOSTED WITH THEM. IF YOU SCROLL DOWN, YOU WILL SEE A NEW COD4 SERVER AND AN AMERICA'S ARMY 2.8.5 HONOR SERVER. THESE SERVERS ARE BEING HOSTED LOCALLY BY ME RIGHT ON THIS VERY WEB SERVER THAT OUR SITE IS ON. I AM PAYING $30.00/MO FOR THE HONOR, SO DON'T LET ME DOWN. LET'S START GETTING OUR NUMBERS BACK UP AND ENJOY OUR NEW SERVERS.
DONATIONS ARE APPRECIATED GUYS.

ANNOUNCING TEAMSPEAK 3

TeamSpeak 3 Open Beta Announced!
by Florence on Oct 26, 2009
We are pleased to announce OPEN BETA TESTING of the TeamSpeak 3 client and server will commence:

SATURDAY DEC 19th, 2009
13:37 CET (Central European Time)
07:37 EST (Eastern Standard Time)

Both the TeamSpeak 3 Client and Server will be available for download and testing on the following platforms:

Windows (32bit and 64bit)
Mac OS X (Intel and PPC)
Linux (32bit and 64bit)

We have received numerous queries regarding whether TeamSpeak 3 will be compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 and in short, both client and server WILL be compatible with these operating systems.

On this date, we expect to approve at least several large Authorized TeamSpeak Host Providers (ATHPs) so users will also have the ability to rent a professionally hosted TeamSpeak 3 server. In addition, we will be offering a limited number of slots/connections available on our TeamSpeak 3 public test servers. However, if you are technically savvy enough to host your own server you will of course also have the opportunity to do so.

Existing TeamSpeak 2 ATHPs will be contacted in the coming weeks with further details on how to become a TeamSpeak 3 ATHP. Established hosting companies who are not currently offering TeamSpeak hosting will also have the opportunity to apply to become a TeamSpeak 3 ATHP ahead of time as well. We will also be coordinating from among our top, established TeamSpeak 2 ATHPs in good standing, the release of the TeamSpeak 3 server PRIOR to the open beta date above to allow time for testing, writing provisioning scripts, planning migrations, etc.

As usual, stay tuned to our site for updates and details!

TAKE NOTE, as soon as the beta begins, I am going to see about setting us up for the new server. I will post more details as I get them. As soon as the client becomes available for download, I will upload it here for us to use.
ALSO NOTE, the TS server IP will change when this happens, so be ready.
