ATTENTION USERS
THE REVAMP OF THE SITE IS NEARLY COMPLETE. ALL FILES HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY MOVED. WE ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING PHP-NUKE 8.1.
THE NEXT STEP WILL BE BRINGING IN THE MODS TO HELP STREAMLINE THE OPERATION OF THE SITE. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF ONE FINAL CMS CHANGE.
MORE DETAILS CAN BE FOUND BY REVIEWING THIS POST THIS POST WILL BE UPDATED ON A REGULAR BASIS UNTIL THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE.
THE OLD SITE WILL BE OFFLINE AND DELETED TONIGHT (11/20/2008) I WAS ABLE TO RECOVER ALL FORUMS AND PRIVATE MESSAGES DATA FROM THE OLD DATABASE.
THERE ARE SOME TECHNICAL ITEMS THERE THAT I WILL BE MAKING AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD BEFORE I GO AHEAD AND DELETE THE OLD SITE. |

Welcome
 This is the new site for Veterans Soldiers. Veterans Soldiers is NOW a COD4 gaming TEAM.
Though we still enjoy AA, we didn't have the funding to continue with our AA server and decided to invest in a COD4 server.
This was done to help try to save the team from going extinct all together.
Veterans Soldiers is made up of a group of people who enjoy gaming together online, while enjoying each others company.
We here at Veterans Soldiers try to create an enjoyable environment for our members and guests to enjoy while gaming.
Some of us are true to life military veterans, some of which are combat vets, others are just COD fanatics.
Veteran Soldiers was started by 3 good friends after our original team was disbanded due to 'Lack of Interest'.
Those 3 friends are UXO[VS] (Ledyard, CT), Mozzie[VS] (Framingham, MA), and Braulio[VS] (Oxford, MA).
Our LEAD Server Admin is ACE[VS] (San Angelo, TX).
Though we are fairly new, we have been around for several years, and plan on being around for many years to come.
We strive to run a team that is friendly, respectful, and happy.
We are ALWAYS looking for good and respectable players to join our team. |

 The transformation is complete. HOWEVER I am considering one final change to the system. My goal is to keep disk space and bandwidth usage down as much as possible. Watch for more updates and watch my progress.

The upgrade to PHP Nuke 8.1 and forums is completed.

The error within the account system is fixed. I am looking for the newest update for this, but am not having luck. The Mod is called CNB Your Account. We are currently running v4.3.1. The latest is v4.4.4. If anyone can find the stand alone version, please let me know.

Nuke Sentinel is up to date to the newest version, 2.0.6.1

The transformation is nearly complete. I am just working out some bugs, implementing some minor updates, and modifying some blocks to work, but I think it's safe to say the site is live now. Watch for more updates and watch my progress.

Currently, I am upgrading it to PHP Nuke 8.1 and the forums will be brought up to phpBb 2.0.23

There is an error within the account system where the page is showing white, I am hoping this update will fix it.

TAKE NOTE:
When Everything is complete, ALL private and forum messages AFTER November 10th will be lost. Keep this in mind, I was planning on pruning all out dated stuff from the site. I will try my best to keep this info from getting lost. I may make a backup of the site on the URL I am doing the work on. More to come.
